I decided to leave the arms and rockers as solid beech and apply a clear varnish to them to add my own style to the piece. Client was very happy with this.
Sadly. Took the order over the internet and deposit. The Client deleted his accounts and his phone number. Strange one really, the chair remains in my attic room to this day.
